I have a 4 year old son who enjoys watching Dancing With the Stars? Is this a safe behavior?

I don't want my son to grow up being some light in the sandals flamer. I want my son to be an American, and play football like his old man. I am worried he likes the show too much. I tried to get him to watch a cartoon or a movie, but it seems like he knows what day its on and demands to watch it. What should I do?
